Fused quartz is made of high pure silicon by high temperature melting and condensation.Its main component is SiO2, and also contains Fe3+,Al3+,K+,Na+,Ca2+,Li+ and other trace elements.The fused quartz has the characteristics of wear resistance, high temperature resistance and acid resistance. The common supplying fused quartz tubing is produced by melting naturally crystalline silica through the method of electrically fused or flame fused.
